Details:
I will show you a set of licks and if you double your guitar speed with one of them during the 6 Week Challenge, I will refund your money on the spot.
If you’re just getting started…
Meaning: You literally don’t know how to play anything.
Don’t join.
However, if you can play pretty reliably at any slow or medium tempo:
I will give you all the tools and support and guidance you need to beat this challenge.
The rest is up to you.
If you’re already playing pretty fast, chances are you won’t get the deposit back, BUT you will have learned practicing skills that will last you a life time to speed up everything you ever play.
And I will have something equally as cool at the end.
To be clear:
I WANT YOU TO BEAT THE CHALLENGE.
Why?
Because that will forever secure my spot in Guitar Teacher Hall Of Fame.
And I got something to bragg about to potential new students. So, I’m totally happy, not making any money on this. It’s just good for business 🙂
Here is how it will happen:
1 week before the challenge starts, I reveal 3 sets of 4 guitar licks to you.
You start practicing them a bit and test them, so you can choose 1 set to work with for the challenge.
Why 4 licks, not 1?
2 Reasons.
1) This will make it easier for you, because you only need to pass the challenge with ONE lick and some of the licks in the set will work better for you, some won’t.
2) Because that will actually HELP you, to practice better, because of their diversity.
If you’re thinking now “That doesn’t make ANY sense”, that just tells ME, you have been practicing all wrong up to this point.
I will show you more about why that is, when the challenge starts.
Next:
On official Day 1 of the challenge we measure your current speed and FILM it, so you have proof.
(Don’t worry, those videos will not go public, unless you give your explicit permission at the end of the 6 weeks because you are immensely proud of yourself)
We start the challenge, I show you many awesome and fun routines to practice and build speed, you will learn a lot more in depth about building speed on guitar and I will be there to guide and correct you along the way.
We will measure your progress at the end of each session.
Lastly:
On the last day, we will have the final tests of your speed progress.
If the number you reach there is twice as high as when you started AND it sounds good… CONGRATULATIONS.
You DOUBLED your guitar speed in just 6 weeks.
You worked hard for it and you deserve the reward.
I will also personally call you out and you will enter the KitaristiFi Hall of Fame officially.

The tempo you play at in this video doesn’t matter, it will not be the benchmark for your success.

Here is the lick I want you to film for me, playing it as fast as you can after 1 day of practice:
And don’t even think about “faking” it. I can tell when you’re not playing at your limit. If I sense any dishonest attempt, I will not let you in and you’ll miss out on incredible REAL speed gains.

This will probably NOT be the lick you will be tested with. If you read the page carefully, you know how it will work.
*Additional rules:
Since the slower you play right now, the easier it is to double your guitar speed, I want to make it fair for the ones that already do play at a pretty good tempo.
If you can play the lick faster than 80 bpm, nothing changes for you.
We will simply work on speeding you up to 160 bpm.
If you’re playing slower than 60 bpm, you must reach at least 120 bpm at the end of the challenge.
Please believe me for now, THAT will be much easier, than getting this lick to 160 bpm. In fact, it’s not even close.
Summing it all up:
If we measure your current top speed at 60 bpm or below, you have to play faster than 120 bpm on the last day, to be eligible for the refund.
If you play at 80 bpm or below, you have to play faster than 160 bpm.
If you play faster than 80 bpm, you have to simply double up.
(It’s called challenge because it’s… challenging.)
If I catch you faking something, you will be excluded from the challenge.
